Anyone close to Fredericksburg, VA

Hi,

I'm checking to see if anyone is close to where we live and maybe we can do a meet and greet. We want to make sure Shelby gets tons of socialization but we haven't met any other dane families. It would be nice to see and meet other great danes and their families.

I'm in Richmond, VA and there is a Dane meet-up the second Sunday of ever month at Ruff House Dog Park in Chesterfield. Here is a link to an article written by the Dane owner who put it together and some links in the article to information about the on-going event. It started in July of last year.

It's a little over an hour south of you, but always well attended (probably 20 danes or so) and a lot of fun!

my2danes is also in Richmond. And NavyWife is in Va Beach area. I am from Richmond, and will be in town last week in May/First of June. I was going to try and set up a get together while I am there. Maybe in Ashland if anyone is interested.

Thanks everyone, I just looked up the Dane Day and it looks fun. Shelby is just over 4 mo old so we may try to go to the next day in May.

Miles in Fredericksburg

I live in Fredericksburg and Miles is about 11 months old. He's still all puppy; I'd love to meet anyone here who is in Fredericksburg or we can meet in Ashland at the Dog Park there. Let me know!!

In Fredricksburg area too

We just moved to the area not to long ago and just got a great dane pup, he is 10 weeks old. Our neighbors said that there is a really good vet off of RT 17 called England Run Veterinary. Has anyone heard anything about them?
