I use Beach Pet Hospital on the corner of Virginia Beach Boulevard and Great Neck road. I really like them, they aren't big into my raw feeding, but good people and always run well. The older vet will fuss about delaying vaccines, so if you want to do the longer protocol I would make sure to get an appointment with one of the younger ones. They are also cropping-friendly. I went in and the owner was just pleased I didn't take him to someone who would lop off his ears, said he doesn't do it because it's too easy to mess up on a show dog!

Thax for the reply s I posted this a while ago before he came home to us. W e did end up finding a really good vet who is dane friendly an dr daily has been around for a while since 94. He came recommended to us through our Dane meet up group. We have had one visit with him he was very nice took his time with us an seemed to be knowledgeable. The only thing I have to say is they are a bit more expensive then some But so far I think worth it. They are the Sajo vet hospital on diamond springs road.... Thank you again.

Hey Wendy, if you need a backup, Paula posted another group in the Meetup group that she takes her dogs to, cant remember the name off the top of my head but it's posted in the Meetup discussion boards, and they are very Dane savvy, and I REALLY like them.

Thanx I will take a look at them as well. He gets re tapped on Monday an then I will talkiing to them about vacs as well we will see what they say.
