    Hello

    Hello Everyone, jus wanted to introduce myself and of course speak a little about our Danes. We are Chris and Angie (military members) live in San Antonio Texas and Wichita Kansas. We have 3 Danes, Blade an all black almost 6 year old, Zeus, a Merlequin, 3.5 year old (both live in Texas) and our newest addition is Mator, a 4 month old Brindlequin.

    We have been a Dane family for sometime; our first one, Sir Lancelot was wonderful, however, we only had time to enjoy him for 3 years when he was diagnosed with Mega-Esophagus and we had to have release him to Dane Heaven -- it was an extremely hard time not only for us but for Blade also. As sad as it was and still is (over 3 years) the time we had with him was fantastic.

    Well that is about it, we look forward to meeting Dane owners in both Wichita and San Antonio...

    Hello!! Welcome to DOL. We currently live in MO, but will be moving to TX soon. Sorry for your loss. My husband's ex boss had a MegaE IW, it was such a sad situation. They just lost him right after he turned 4.
    Chris, Wife to Dave, and Mom three human teenagers.
    Also mom to Tori (11 yo Lab), , Ayla (2 yo brindle dane), Milo (2 yo boxer), Killian (4 week old iw pup who is still with his breeder and mommy) 3 kittens, 2 horses, multiple reptiles, 7 fainting goats, 25 chickens, and 2 pot bellied pigs, all of whom make life great!
    RIP CARLIE 2/09-2/11 & REILLY 10/4/08-11/20/12, best friends together forever now.

                    Our Louis is our second Dane he is black and 220 pounds and 10 years old. We rescued him and a Harlequin female who died January 25th, 3018 after an episode of bloat, undiagnosed. Louis wa diagnosed on Thursday with megaesophagus and myasthenia gravis, liver failure and a pituitary disorder. We are putting him on the rainbow bridge today and our hearts are breaking,20 years is a long run but never long enough!!!
