  • $184.00 for a PCR fecal test???

Just wondering if this seems right - bcz I am thinking that it sounds kind of high, even for Los Angeles...

We are having more issues w/ Zoomer's poop again so are looking into more extensive testing...

I am in Tennessee and paid $150 for my cats. That sounds about right to me.

I used to use PCRs at school...the equipment is expensive. Maybe that's where the cost comes in?

Well it looks like it is pricy other places as well... The large animal hospital down the street charges $253. I know the equipment is super expensive, so I guess that explains it. My sister had this equipment in her lab when she was at Harvard. Oh well, just gotta bite the bullet I suppose.

That being said Zoomer's poop seems to have slowly returned to normal again over the last two days - jeez, so frustrating!!!

It is expensive! We had to have both of our cats tested last year and between the two test and treatment it was nearly $1000. Crazy !

It sounds about right... Mine was 110 with my discount at work. I only had to pay the cost the lab charged the clinic. Im in upstate NY - the 2cd most expensive state lol.
