  • Verbal Agility Command?

Hi there! For the agility people...what verbal command do you use for the dogwalk?? I was thinking of 'plank' but open to other suggestions. I have a week to come up with a forever name for it. Thanks!

We just started our second agility class course tonight! We did a round of obedience in between the two. MAN, was she ready to hit he equipment! She really missed it and was introduced to a lot of new things. We did the A-frame, dogwalk, and the tire for the first time tonight. She did great! We did the dogwalk 3 times and in the middle of the straight-away she would jump off. Maybe it was the slight bounce it gave off. She didn't seem scared though because she would jump back on at the descention and finish. LOL!

It really is handler preference, I use " Walk it". Others are: " Touch" , "bridge", etc.

Another vote for "walk it" here. Others in my class use "walk". For me it has to be close to whatever the big piece of equipment actually is (dogwalk, in this case), otherwise I'm liable to holler something else in the chaos of a run!

Thank you Witzn and Quirkyone! I like "walk it". "Walk" alone sounds too simular to things I would say at home.

Quirkyone, I liked Sadie's video! She looks a lot like my gal Dakota.
