When do GD puppies begin to blow their coat?? Also, about how long does this last?? My dane is 6 months old and is shedding like crazy, so I am guessing he is just blowing his puppy coat...I hope.. Plus, Im allergic to dogs, especially the ones that shed ( I know I know, what am I doing with a GD?? I guess my love for dogs is way more important... lol So I am hoping this stage doesn't last too long... Any answers are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Shedding can last a week to months long, depends on the dog. Helpful tools for getting haIR out hair is Zoom Groom, Furminator, or curry comb.

Some danes shed more than others, some quite a bit. Another thing that helps is a good quality food. Your pup is probably blowing his puppy coat & summer coat at the same time.
