I look at Oscar now and see a normal dog. But then someone else sees him and they think he is the biggest dog in the world. He is 3 and weighs around 155. But to me that seems about the size of a lab. I guess I have been around himn too long. The other day I was looking through his vet records and on his one year check up he weighed 149. So really his weight hasn't changed. He could weigh 100 and I would still love him just the same though.

Kim, that is exactly how I feel!! LOL
I don't see how big Bullwinkle is...and the fact that he can now stand over my lab/dane Emma only makes me think Emma is smaller than she really is.
Everyone says, wow, that dog is huge (Bullwinkle) but all I see is my baby.

Thats funny. I remember when Oscar was like 6 months old and my lab would just walk under him with no problem. And still I thought Oscar was normal. Maybe I think Oscar is so small because he thinks he is. My sister comes over and she always asks why I have a dog so big and I just tell her that Oscar thinks he is the size of her chihuahua. And let me add that my sister has a English Mastiff too.

Isn't it funny how our perspective changes? I don't see Odin as being a "giant" dog like visitors to the house do!! I only realize how tall he is when he's next to other large breeds (like goldens, labs, etc).
