I'm not especially looking forward to that whole "feeding a growing Dane boy" phase again lol.

      Is Finn running marathons?
Just wait until Mickey gets bigger! Finn is at 5 lbs and ready for a slight increase. Asaah's at about 4 lbs, sometimes a little less.

One of the few reasons I'm happy to have a girl pup, those boys can eat.

Currently, I'm feeing Festus 4 pounds a day he was eating quite a bit more than that when growing and before his meds were all figured out.

Ginnie who is 7 months old and 86 pounds is eating 3.5 pounds a day. I feed her 1.5 lbs in the morning and 2 lbs at night.

Both get quite a bit of treats throughout the day especially when training.

Finn must have an appetite! Duke is good at night with eating, but the morning.... Ughh it is a bit of a challenge.

I seriously feed my 4.5 year old 140# male dane 1.75 pounds a day and treats probably make up the other quarter pound. Anything more, and he gets fat. If I was feeding as much as you guys (adult danes), I'd back it down a quarter of a pound for a couple of weeks and see if they hold their condition. A carnivore will sometimes simply eliminate the extra food instead of getting fat, with their shorter GI tract.

I actually cut Fergus back an entire pound at breakfast (not all at once) and he's still maintaining quite nicely. If he doesn't quit being such a little diva I'm going to cut back a bit at a time on his dinner, too.

Finn is a hog and will eat anything you put in front of him with gusto! Plus the occasional leaf, bug, small stick, and acorn . I'm looking forward to being able to cut him back when he's an adult. Just measured him and he's 30" already. He just looks so small compared to Asaah, I was surprised he was that big even.

Off topic, but who is Chaucey (in your sig pic)? Sounds like such a fancy proper type name.

                    It's her pet goat.

You can thank my mom for that one. She wanted the initials CJ (brothers are AJ and BJ) and I guess that's the only C name she could think of

Poor Chaucey. She's not even real and you're going to kill her.
