  • Chicken Soup Large Breed Adult

Anyone had good luck with this food? I just got a bag today because its quality, reasonable and has content of 23/12. Hudson can't do eagle pack...I don't know why. It always seems the cheaper the food the less rich and therefore the less soft poops....OH WHHHHY

Hammer did very well on the chicken soup, but Ariel's tummy is so sensitive that we couldn't do it.

I went from Innova to Canidae back to CS (my 6-year-old was having tummy issues on Canidae). I alternate between the large breed and the regular adult...depends on what the store has on the day I go because I have to buy 70 lbs at a time.

Both my Danes (6 years and 8 months) do great on this.

i also just switched venti to chicken soup large breed adult food, about 3-4 days ago. and man she loves it...i was having trouble getting her to eat without me or my wife hand feeding venti (10 weeks old), but now she licks the bowl clean in about 5 min tops. we feed her 1 cup per mean mixed with wet nutro lamb&rice wet food..

but i couldnt be happier with cs..

We love Chicken Soup This is the only one that we have found that Savanna enjoys, and that we are very happy with the ingredients. Plus, the price isn't too bad either! We recommend it.

That must be nice, the bag we bought ended up being $60.00 with shipping. (hubby didn't read the fine print and we can't get it locally) Needless to say we had to switch food.

We've been on CS, both large breed adult and reg adult, for almost a year now with Andre, and about 5 months with Loki and Clyde. They all like it and it seems to like them too! They were on Canidae, but Andre didn't like it so he switched. I switched the other two because I got tired of lugging 2huge bags of dog food to the store counter. Ours 35lbs for $37 (that's with tax)

I think it is a very good quality food if they can tolerate it. I was so hoping Hogan could but alas no.

Ruf was on this food for a few months...then one he pretty much refused to eat it. Would just nibble a little bit and walk away. Did this for several weeks...lost a lot of weight he couldn't afford to lose. He really did not care for it at all. I tried to hold out, but in the end I switched because just because he didn't like, but it still gave him soft poop.
