I found it when Lola broke her toe as a puppy and I was researching treatment options. Kept coming back to read threads, then joined when I wanted moral support during her spay surgery .

I was just looking around at all kinds of Dane stuff and found DOL. It was a busy site so I thought I'd give it a try.

            Let's see...
I was considering getting a Dane, which for me meant Internet Search for info! (Already had a few basics down)

Found DOL, went back and read ALL the info, current and archived (I like to read LOL). Side note - those OLD threads are gold mines of info!

Adopted a Dane from an animal shelter shortly thereafter.

Became a VERY outspoken member over time.

Had to withdraw for a while for personal reasons.

            Back again, much more mellow

Well behaved danes are not born. They are “made” by responsible and caring dane owners.

Actually I can't remember which came first. I know that DOL is a link on my breeder's web site and also I was doing a lot of searching for various great dane sites and info just prior to getting my pup.

Either way, I'm grateful that I found DOL!

Thanks Deb......good to be back. Missed you Guys.

We bought a house so really busy moving/getting settled. Couple of days ago I thought I'd pop in to see what's going on here, and just that quick hooked again. DOL is similar to a drug...one little hit and you're addicted again.
