Well starting today we are leaving Boomer home in his crate while the boyfriend and I are at work.
I was taking him to work with me since I am a vet tech but he has outgrown the kennels there and we dont have dog runs since we are a tiny dermatology practice.
I was soo sad leaving him.
He did well though, the boyfriend came home for lunch and hung out with him for an hour and then i got home at 6:15..damn my long commute..takes me 45 min to get home.
I felt so bad having him cooped up all day that we went for a long walk and some swimming and fun with the hose before feeding him.
Gave him some empty minute maid cartons to tear up he loves that.

Its so sad leaving my baby...I am sure you all know how I feel

It's sooooo hard to leave them--especially the first couple of times. Think about this, though--he's probably sleeping most of the time you're gone!

I felt terrible leaving my dane home during the day!!! I go home at luch to feed and walk him but it's still hard. Someone told me wouldn't you rather go home to a happy dog then go home to an unhappy you with your dog!
and have your house in a mess! They adjust to all off it. My pup is now 6 months young and doing great with it.

Aaaw, it is hard to leave them - plus when we leave in the morning, I have two six year olds whining "why can't the dogs come to school? I don't feel good without my Bates..." Geez who taught them guilt trips?!
